Participation Rules — Royal Beauty Cup

Official version published on royalbeautycup.com. By registering, the participant fully accepts these rules without reservation.

⚠️ Fundamental rule: NO automatic placements!

Even if only one work is submitted in a nomination, this does not mean automatic attribution of 1st place. Places are awarded exclusively according to the number of points obtained during the jury’s evaluation. Depending on the results, the work may receive: 🥇 1st place · 🥈 2nd place · 🥉 3rd place · or a participation diploma if the score is insufficient for a placed position.

If you cannot find a category suited to your work, contact the championship organizers. We will be happy to help you choose the nomination that best matches your submission.

All works will be evaluated objectively and professionally by an international jury composed of highly qualified specialists from different countries. Judges have extensive experience in their disciplines as well as professional knowledge of materials, techniques, technologies and photo retouching, which guarantees a fair and transparent evaluation of every submitted work.

In case of a question or dispute, we recommend contacting the championship organizers first. We are always open to dialogue and ready to help find the best possible solution.

Participant categories

  • Junior: beginners without professional experience. Age: up to 18 years old.
  • Debut: beginner masters. Experience after training: less than 12 months. First participation in a championship. Subcategories: Debut Master · Debut Top Master · Debut Instructor.
  • Master: professional experience up to 3 years. 1 to 2 placed positions in championships.
  • Profi / Top Master: professional experience of more than 3 years. More than two placed positions in international or regional championships.
  • Master Instructor: experienced teaching instructors. Winners in the Debut Instructor category.
  • Judge Trainee: specialist training as a judge, or participant in their first championship after obtaining a judge certificate.
  • Judge: specialist with a valid judge certificate and the right to take part in judging championships.

Judges’ obligations

The judge must:

  • Strictly follow the championship rules and the organizers’ instructions.
  • Complete the evaluation within the indicated deadline.
  • Maintain objectivity, confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Carry out the evaluation only via the platform indicated by the organizers.

In the event of a delay in publishing the evaluation without a justified cause, the judge may be disqualified.
In the online format, a judge may evaluate several categories. Each work is evaluated anonymously and independently by several judges, which guarantees the objectivity of the results.

Conditions of participation

The championship is open to:

  • Specialists who have completed or are undergoing training in nail care.
  • Professionals of any experience level.
  • Instructors and judges.
  • Participants from all countries in the world.

Championship format

Format: online. Submission methods: photography · POSTER nominations · classic nominations · short video (if the work is too large or contains many details).

Registration and participation conditions

  • Submit the participation request.
  • Choose the category and nomination.
  • Pay 100% of the registration fee.

The trophy pack shipment is not included in the participation fee and is paid separately. Participants may enter an unlimited number of nominations.

Important: By submitting the request, the participant automatically accepts all the championship rules. The participant authorizes the publication of photos and videos of their work on the championship’s social networks and platforms. All works must be personally created by the participant. Works that have participated in other competitions are allowed. All winners will receive prizes and diplomas according to their placement.

Participation and submission of works

Each participant may submit an unlimited number of works in any number of nominations. Participation may be individual or as a team. Works that have participated in other competitions are accepted. Any professional using professional materials and having submitted a paid request may participate.

Participation deadline: Registration and submission of materials must be completed before the last registration day indicated by the organizers for each championship.

To register you must: send the request · make the participation payment · send proof or a screenshot of payment.

Also send the following information to the person responsible (team leader, judge, championship ambassador or directly to the organizers) — it is mandatory to check that the contact is indicated on the official page of the current championship:

  • First and last name
  • Country and city
  • Nomination
  • Category
  • Phone
  • Instagram
  • Trainer (if none, indicate: “No trainer”)

Participants’ obligations

  • Comply with the championship rules and standards.
  • Submit only personal works, made personally.
  • Correctly choose the category and nomination.
  • Maintain professional ethics and respect towards participants, judges and organizers.
  • Submit works and materials within the set deadline.
  • Respect photography format and submission requirements.

The participant is fully responsible for the authenticity of the works and information provided. By submitting materials to participate, the participant grants the organizers the unlimited right in time to use, publish and distribute these materials for informational, promotional and advertising purposes, including on social networks, websites, audiovisual materials, printed publications and other events, without additional authorization or financial compensation.

⛔ Prohibited

  • Retouching nails, cuticles or side folds with editing software (Photoshop or others).
  • Presence of a greasy film or excess oil on the skin or nails.
  • Using photographs or works belonging to others.
  • Themes related to religion, war, violence or pornography.

Grounds for disqualification

  • Violation of the rules’ standards.
  • Incorrect choice of category or nomination.
  • Breach of professional ethics.
  • Use of works belonging to others.
  • Use of editing software.
  • Copyright infringement.

Evaluation criteria

Depending on the nomination, the following criteria apply:

  • Cleanliness of execution: absence of dust, glue, oil or material residue.
  • Precision and symmetry: correct proportions, symmetry of shape and smile line (if applicable).
  • Technical level: degree of difficulty and mastery of technique.
  • Creativity and idea: personal approach, originality and uniqueness of design.
  • Color harmony: combination of shades and correct color distribution.
  • Overall visual impression: integrity of the work and professional presentation.

Evaluation system

Evaluation is carried out on a 10-point scale. Maximum score: 10 · Minimum score: 3. Scores may include decimals (e.g.: 8.9 / 9.5 / 7.8). Each criterion is evaluated separately.

Evaluation system and placement distribution (6 criteria)

Works are evaluated according to 6 criteria. Each criterion is scored on a 10-point scale (from 3.0 to 10.0 points). Maximum possible score: 60.0 points.

  • 1st place: from 55.0 to 60.0 points
  • 2nd place: from 52.0 to 54.99 points
  • 3rd place: from 49.0 to 51.99 points
  • 4th place: from 46.0 to 48.99 points
  • 5th place: from 43.0 to 45.99 points

Evaluation system (4 criteria)

By decision of the organizers, some criteria may be grouped together. In this case, evaluation will be based on 4 criteria. Maximum possible score: 40.0 points.

  • 1st place: from 35.0 to 40.0 points
  • 2nd place: from 32.0 to 34.99 points
  • 3rd place: from 29.0 to 31.99 points
  • 4th place: from 26.0 to 28.99 points
  • 5th place: from 23.0 to 25.99 points

Organizers reserve the right to determine the number of evaluation criteria depending on the characteristics of the category and championship format.

🏆 Prizes and rewards

All shipping costs for prizes and certificates are paid by the participants. Shipping cost depends on the package weight and destination country. Assistants and judges must also cover shipping costs for trophies or diplomas sent to them or their teams. The organizer does not cover costs related to prize shipping.

Each championship participant receives: Certificate of participation · A small souvenir from the organizer (depending on the championship format and level).

Placed positions (1st, 2nd, 3rd): Medal · Trophy · Diploma.

Championship Grand Prix (5 nominations)

By submitting 5 nominations, the participant automatically enters the Grand Prix nomination. All types of works are accepted, including those that have participated in other championships or been published on social networks.
The Grand Prix winner receives: Grand Prix Trophy · Crown · Diploma · Organizer souvenirs and sponsor gifts (depending on the championship).

Championship Mega Grand Prix (10 nominations)

This prize can only be awarded to one participant. Total number of works submitted and total points obtained are taken into account. Minimum number of works to participate: 10 works.
The winner receives: Trophy · Crown · Diploma · Gifts from organizers and sponsors.

Best team leader / Best team

Rewards the Team Leader with the highest number of participants. To participate, the team must submit more than 30 works. The winner receives: Special trophy · Diploma · “Best Team Leader” medal.
